Outdoor Patio Firepits
66
As the name suggests, fire pits are pits or huge holes containing fire. Firepits have their roots in the ancient age when there man used only natural things to survive. He invented fire and then used it in different ways for safety, to cook food and provide warmth. The ground used to be generally dug and the pit used to be surrounded by rocks and fire was lit inside the pit. This was the traditional firepit. Even today, people who go camping outdoors do try making these traditional firepits for fun. But then no one ever wants their backyard, patio, garden or sit out to be dug for a firepit.
In this modern age, we want to embrace the traditional practices and items but do not want to undergo those hassles and hence want them modified. Everyone would love outdoor firepits if only it does not involve digging the ground. Hence efforts have been made by the Soothing Company to come up with a large variety of uber cool outdoor firepits that will brighten your outdoors and will be a clean chic addition to the décor. These are readymade firepits which means there is already an artificial pit and material to support fire. All you need to do is to light it and enjoy you’re the multiuse outdoor fireplace during those cold days.
Depending on the style, type and size of the firepit you can use it as you want. Whether it is to keep friends and family warm, create a beautiful centerpiece by placing it on the table or roast some fun foods like mushrooms or meat, this tabletop fireplace can mold as per your imagination.
However one needs to be careful while using these. Once proper care is taken, this will be a showstopper for any get-together, coffee evening, barbeque party or just an outdoor family dinner.
There are different designs of outdoor firepits from modern contemporary to traditional and rustic. The ideal firepit is of course a bowl shaped one which is available in various diameters of 30” and 37”. There is the New Castle firebowl with stone stand. The Meridian Firebowl is the most unique design and features among all other firepits. First, it is made of recycled material and is highly durable.
Second, the bottom can be moved at the base and can be tilted depending on the direction of the wind or the flame. Thus it is very useful in places with heavy breeze. It can be ignited with natural gas, charcoal and wood. This piece is sure to take the beauty of your outdoors a step above the rest.
The other varieties of outdoor firepits are the ones which are extremely safe as they come with a flame guard. The Hot Spot Urban, Big Sky Black Wildfire and Vine Leaves Wildfire, Haywood Stars and Moons firepit and the Garden Light Series Savannah, Sarasota and Baton Rouge firepits are some of the popular types.
A unique designer piece is the Fireball Firebowl which is weighs a good 275lbs and resembles a planet because it is fully round in shape.
It is custom made from recycled materials and though a little expensive, it will prove to be an investment for life.

We have an outdoor firepit like one of these, and love it. It is so much fun to sit outside with the grandkids and make s'mores or roast hot dogs; and, it keeps us warm on a chilly summer evening.
